Case study, 2023–2026
Attalos, a menu for every season
Attalos is a café, bar and restaurant. Since 2023 I’ve designed what its guests hold and scroll past: the printed menus for coffee, brunch, drinks, wine and Italian food, the menus for Christmas and New Year’s Eve, and the posters and posts for its party nights. Below, 39 pieces in the order they were made.
2023
The first menu family
One tree logo, one line pattern and a colour for each menu: beige for coffee, orange for brunch, blue for drinks and the bar, black for the Italian kitchen. Guests tell them apart at a glance, and the set still reads as one brand.
2023–2024
Christmas and New Year’s Eve
Every December brought a Réveillon: menus for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, printed for the tables and the walls, and posts to announce them on Instagram and Facebook.
2024–2025
A full refresh
Over 2024 and 2025 every menu was rebuilt: a brunch menu in bright blue line art, a food menu in deep brown, a bar menu with its own lettering, a wine list illustrated in gold and a paper sous-plat for the tables.
2025
Party nights
A disco masquerade, Valentine’s Day and the Lent menu each got a poster and posts in the sizes every platform needs.
2025–2026
Italian, Réveillon and Gatsby
The Italian kitchen got a new menu and a social campaign to launch it. The Réveillon brought menus for Christmas and New Year’s Eve and an animated Christmas menu for social media, and February closed with a Great Gatsby masquerade.
